MS Hematology

MS Hematology is a 2-years degree program that aims to enhance the core knowledge and lab skills of the aspirants in the field of hematology. The MPhil program teaches students how to do research and provides them with specialized expertise. Its main educational goal is to provide students with meaningful first-degree experience with the opportunity to do concentrated study in the area while being closely supervised. It also allows students to gain or improve skills and knowledge that are related to their research interests.
Students will have a broad awareness of procedures as well as a thorough understanding of the literature that they may apply to their own research. Degree holders will be able to show innovation in knowledge application, as well as a practical awareness of how research and inquiry are utilized to develop and interpret knowledge in their profession. Eligibility Criteria

  • 16 years of education(MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Hons/M.Sc.) with at least 2.50/4.00 or equivalent marks
  • GAT General with 50% cumulative score
  • Pass Admission Test in required marks (as per university criteria)

Scope

Many of them work for cancer research groups that are not for profit. The degree holders can work in hospitals in private and public sectors both. Hematologists are also employed by government agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Research hematologists are frequently employed as instructors in universities.
