MS Geological Engineering

Masters in Geological Engineering is 2 years degree program. The capacity to design solutions for achieving desired needs in geological engineering work is an important aspect of the educational experience. The curriculum's design component is created in geological engineering classes that combine basic science (geology, chemistry, and physics) with engineering science (including statics, mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, soil mechanics, and thermodynamics). The capstone engineering design courses build on and combine earlier training to prepare geological engineering graduates for professional practice. The nature of geological engineering is always changing as employers' needs alter in response to technological advancements and economic forces. Students must be willing to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed to prepare appropriately for employment in geological engineering, employing appropriate learning methodologies to embrace new technology and stay current within the engineering profession. Graduates with a diverse set of skills, the ability to acquire new technologies quickly, and a solid foundation in fundamental ideas will have an advantage in the job market and workplace.
