MS Clinical Psychology

Clinical psychology degrees educate students theories and therapeutic strategies that will help them address undesired psychological behaviors in clients or patients while also promoting well-being, self-discovery, and personal development. Clinical psychologists can conduct psychological exams, diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, such as depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, and learning disorders, and then propose treatment. MS in Clinical Psychology is a two-year degree program in which students learn about developmental psychology, clinical and counseling techniques, evidence-based practice, diagnosis and treatment, psychologic disorders, behavioural neuroscience, research methodology, and other topics. Clinical psychologists can specialize in a variety of counseling and psychotherapy approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy (such as psychoanalysis), family therapy, or humanistic therapy, depending on the theoretical orientation that best suits them.
