MS Applied Physics

It is a 2-year postgraduate degree program that takes the knowledge and lab research skills, gained in the previous degree, to an advanced level. It equips the aspirant to enhance their research expertise in one specific field. The advanced expertise, in a specific field, will become the first step towards becoming a scientist and research analyst of that specific field. The MS/MPhil degree program offers course work in the first year and the second year, the aspirants have to complete their research thesis. The students must have to complete the thesis dissertation to become eligible for the degree. The prerequisite for admission is BS (4 years)/BE/ MSc in Applied Physics with 2.50 CGPA or 60% marks. The aspirants must have passed NTS(GAT) with a minimum of 50% marks. The aspirants may have to clear admission tests for some universities.
