MA Special Education

MA Special Education is a 2-years degree program that aims to provide education and training to teachers who work with special needs students in both special and regular schools. The MA Special Education degree is essentially a professional qualification for training teachers for children with special needs. The program primarily drew in-service teachers from both special and mainstream schools.
The degree program's goals are to prepare teachers and specialized employees to fulfil the country's growing demand for qualified teachers and specialized personnel by familiarizing them with the most up-to-date procedures and methodologies for dealing with special needs. By raising public awareness, the degree program tends to provide referral and supportive services to the handicapped and their parents. It also develops the skills in the degree holders to improve the lives of the handicapped.

MA Special Education’s graduates can work in a wide range of educational, vocational, and therapeutic settings. Degree holders in special education have a lot of opportunities in educational centers for special mental disabilities, physical handicap, hearing impairment, vision impairment, and learning disability. Graduates can work in schools, hospitals, institutes, and rehabilitation centers, helping special needs children directly or indirectly. The scope of MA Special Education has increased with the increasing awareness in the society about the educational needs of specially-abled persons. The degree can be carried forward towards higher studies to get more expertise and knowledge.
