M.phil Sports Science and Physical Education

Sports science and physical education is a field of study that is important in the modern world of science and technology. It involves the study of sports, physiology, physical activity, and health, and can help people develop the skills and knowledge needed to be leaders in the field. The study of sports science and physical education is important because it can help people use the latest techniques in their daily lives and professional routines. sport' as all forms of physical activity that contribute to physical fitness, mental well-being and social interaction. These include play; recreation; casual, organized or competitive sport; and indigenous sports or games. Sport involves rules or customs and sometimes competition. It includes the knowledge, methods and applications of sub-disciplines of human movement studies (i.e., exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control and motor development, exercise and sport psychology), as well as how they interact.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have passed M.Sc./ BS (4 years) with at least 65% marks in semester system and 50% marks in annual system of examination in the relevant discipline
  • Applicants need to pass the NTS (GAT) at least 50% marks
  • prepared tests by the university with 60% marks, and interviews conducted by the department
