It is a 3-5 years Ph.D. program that aims at providing the core and enhanced knowledge about the Arabic language and literature. The degree holder will have adequate research skills to evaluate any literary content and language trend. It has 6 semesters that consist of 2 semesters of coursework, a comprehensive examination, and a research thesis. The students must have to complete their thesis and get it approved to get eligible for the degree. The prerequisite for admission in Ph.D. is MS/MPhil degree in Arabic with 1st division (annual examination system) or 3.00 CGPA (semester system). The aspirants must have passed GRE-International/ GAT-Subject from NTS before admission. The applicants must have to clear the admission test of the university with the required marks to get a place on the merit list.
