BS Textile Management and Marketing

Textile management can be described as studies of practices related to the textile and fashion industry, including studies of the organization and management of textile and fashion-related supply and demand chains, including design and product design, product development, production and manufacturing processes. This program presents a combination of technical and Business courses. The main objective is to prepare professionals who are educated with the technology and process of textiles industry along with the important managerial and marketing skills. The blend of education of textile and business skill will have a wealth of options open to them in the dynamic international world of clothing and textiles management and marketing. Textile management can be described as studies of practices related to the textile and fashion industry, including studies of the organization and management of textile and fashion-related supply and demand chains, including design and product design, product development, production and manufacturing processes, procurement, distribution and logistics, marketing, market communication and merchandising, retailing, consumer analyses, consumer behavior, sustainability etc. To provide learning opportunity to graduates to meet the present and future demands of textile sector. To enhance business practicability of the graduates by developing entrepreneurial skills and managerial competencies in order to polish the skills of future business leaders. To develop the practical as well as analytical skills in the graduates to evaluate and resolve all possible issues in the domains of management and marketing of textile sectors.
