BS Surgical Technology
BS Surgical Technology is a 4 years degree program that comprises of coursework and extensive lab training. Surgical technology is a technical field that deals with the surgical treatment of patients. Surgical technologists (ST) guarantee that every procedure performed in the operating room is as safe and effective as feasible. Their primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the operation theatre's work and management, including the sterilization of surgical equipment, as well as the setup of the operation theatre table, dressing table, and instrument table.
The degree holders will study common operating techniques and learn how to work under pressure. The aspirants get highly professional training including the care of the patients. So that they can have a positive influence on patients. Surgical procedures and techniques will be taught to improve the professional and patient interaction abilities. They will be able to employ Surgical Technology abilities in Medical Practice after completing the degree.
