Bachelors of Radiography Imaging Technology/ Medical Imaging Technology
It is a 4-years degree program that equips the student with all the basic and advanced knowledge of radiography imaging technology with all practical technical training. It provides complete knowledge of radiation on the human body with an adequate understanding of the machinery and computer. Besides it provides enough information and training about diverse forms of radiation that are used on different parts of the human body. This degree is not only the course work; it has extensive training and practical work on the radiologic computer software and machines. The prerequisite of admission in this degree is FSc (pre-medical) or equivalent education (related subjects) with a minimum of 60% marks. the students must have to pass the entry test with the required marks to get their names on the merit list. It is recommended to check the admission criteria of the university you have applied for.

BS degrees in Radiography Imaging Technology/ Medical Imaging Technology are planned to offer clinical knowledge and medical training to the degree holders. These degrees enable the students to work as technical professionals in radiography departments. They provide adequate technical and medical support to the medical doctors in the radiology department. Therefore, it can be stated that technical professionals, holding a BS degree in radiography, play an imminent role in these departments. The radiology department has many fields that deal with different forms of radiation to detect, diagnose and prevent diseases in different parts of the human body. The BS degree holder in this field has adequate knowledge and training to work with different radiologic machines and computers. Now almost every doctor prescribes to have the radiological test in many cases. So, the BS degree holder in RIT/MIT has a high scope of working in government and private hospitals. With the increasing flux of patients in hospitals, more radiographer technologists/ professionals are needed. Besides working in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and laboratories, BSRIT/BSMIT degree holders can pursue the postgraduate degree to work as senior professionals.
