In Pakistan, a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy has good scope in the private and public sectors. Students who study pre-medical in FSC always keep it in the top 3 priorities to choose as their profession. This trend has risen after turning the Graduate degree of Pharmacy into a 5 years program to attain the international standards. The degree holder can have multiple options to work in the pharmaceutical industry and research. Many national drug controlling authorities always prefer to enroll the Pharma Doctors for their organizations. At such places, an MBBS doctor may not be encouraged to join because of the professional requirements of that particular field. In research in the pharmaceutical field, the pharmacy degree holder is highly preferred. However, it is recommended to attain postgraduate pharmacy degrees to excel in research.
