BS Mechanical Engineering Technology

Mechanical engineering is the study of physical machines that may involve force and movement. It is an engineering branch that combines engineering physics and mathematics principles with materials science, to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. The application of engineering concepts and technological advancements to the development of practical goods and manufacturing equipment is known as mechanical engineering technology. The Mechanical Engineering Technology Department offers the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) curriculum. The goal of this broad-based technology curriculum is to prepare the candidates for all fundamental technology courses. Here, the focus is unmistakably on practical instruction and technical knowledge to prepare the students to meet the nation's fundamental industrial needs. As a result, the initiative would cover every industrial sector, from the electricity sector to the process plants and the automobile industry. With investments from a number of firms in auto manufacturing facilities, Pakistan is starting an ambitious automobile production program. Mechanical engineers may also work in the field of biomedical engineering, specifically with biomechanics, transport phenomena, biomechatronics, bionanotechnology, and modelling of biological systems.
