BS Islamic Finance

This is derived from two primary sources, the Qur’an: this is considered by Muslims to be the final revelation from Allah (God) to mankind for its salvation and contains stories of past prophets, historical events, and numerous rulings to abide by; and the Sunnah: these are sayings and teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Islamic financial system plays a similar role, but new laws designed to help society establish social justice and eliminate economic exploitation These legal and guiding principles are called "Shariah" and have many unique and special features a they are not found in traditional budgets. Prohibition of fixing a predetermined rate of interest ("riba"). Prohibition of excessive ambiguity or uncertainty in contracts ("gharar"). Prohibition of gambling ("maysir").Prohibition of economic activities which harm the society such as alcohol . Prohibition of monopoly and the goal of providing equal opportunities to everyone in the society, and establishment of a social safety net for the poor ("zakah"). The aim of the Islamic financial system is to facilitate and mobilize resources for proper business and business activities of all social responsibilities. Islamic finance is essentially finance which is compliant with the Sharia, Islamic Law.
