BS English ( language and literature)

English Language and Literature is a discipline that focuses on analysis of the language including its syntax, evolution and application, use and production together with a focus on texts, genres and literary movements. This area of study offers breadth and depth of knowledge about how language works and changes, about how literature responses to and helps define cultures, societies, and selves. The language component deals with the evolution of English language arity, syntax, and style, investigating its transition from Anglo Saxon to the world language that it is now.The literature component includes examination and analysis of various important works and writers or movements regardless of time and place – from the epic to the modern novel, drama, and poetry. iterature is any collection of written work, but it is also used more narrowly for writings specifically considered to be an art form, especially novels, plays, and poems. It includes both print and digital writing. The English Literature has a different role in education. It gives a lot of knowledge about the society and about the literature. It gives a chance for students to improve their writing skills, speaking skills, reading skills, critical thinking skills and so on.
