BS Earth Sciences (Applied Geology/Applied Geophysics)

Your knowledge of both geophysics and geology will be enhanced by this training. Components, content, and structure found within the Earth's interior, the genesis of the universe and its evolution across time magnetism, seismological processes, and gravity. Many people conflate geology with geophysics, yet this degree gives you both.  A geoscientist is someone who studies the Earth and how it functions. They both, for example, study the mechanisms that underlie plate tectonics. Geologists study the Earth's surface and how it has changed through time. What do geophysicists study? They study the physical processes that take place on our planet, such as: the makeup of its interior ,the atmosphere of our planet, gravitational, electrical, and magnetic forces. You will obtain a greater understanding of any topic if you study both techniques. Research on global change and some of the world's most urgent environmental issues is based on this integrated understanding.
