Construction management is the professional function that oversees the planning, design, construction and completion of a construction project. Construction Management (CM) aims to manage optimal project scope, time, and cost to maximize project owner satisfaction (sometimes referred to as the project management triangle or "triple constraints") It deals with project management processes and software are used to plan, design, construct, and complete a construction project safely, on time, on budget , and maintained within specified specifications Construction contractors are called construction managers. They have knowledge and experience in business design and construction science. Professional construction managers can be hired for large-scale, high-volume projects (commercial buildings, transportation infrastructure, industrial, and military infrastructure) called capital projects.
