BS Computer Engineering Technology

Computer engineering is about hardware and software systems and about getting them to work together efficiently. Computer engineering technologists work within the industry in supportive roles. In the field of computer engineering technology (CET), digital systems, such as computer networks, hardware, and software, are designed and maintained. Students will be prepared by studying and applying concepts from technology, mathematics, and the natural sciences as well as practical procedures based on these areas. Technology, engineering sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics are all covered in the course material. Technological service providers, testing services for materials and technologies, process improvement technicians, engineers, construction technicians and managers, industrial and technology managers, and research technicians are among the jobs that graduates should be eligible for. A course that equips students with the technical know-how and fundamental engineering concepts needed to install, service, and maintain computers, peripherals, networks, microprocessors, and computer-controlled devices is known as computer engineering technology.
