ADP Computer Networking

The Department of Computer Science provides a two-year Associate Degree in Computer Networking program that is equivalent to a fourteen-year Bachelor Degree. Computer networking is a dynamic field in which all organizations are compelled to computerize their existing systems in order to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century. It is at the cutting edge of computer technology and is visible everywhere because it connects people from all over the world. This innovative and fascinating degree program teaches you these abilities and teaches you how to build a network using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. This study program will teach you how to develop networks by covering topics such as network design, analysis, modelling, and simulation, cellular and wireless communication, information and network security, as well as advanced concepts such as intrusion detection systems, 3G/ 4G networks, voice and data integration, cyber laws, and cloud computing.

Eligibility Criteria

  • At least 50% marks in the Intermediate (HSSC) examination.
  • Passing marks in entry test.

Scope

The program will provide students with the opportunity to be prepared with fundamental networking abilities in order to satisfy market requirements including, installation, configuration, security, administration, and troubleshooting of network systems. There’s a competition for a variety of positions, including Assistant Network Engineer, Assistant Network Administrator, Network Systems Support, and Network Technician.
