SKANS as a Business school was started in 1991 in Lahore. SKANS SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTANCY is the largest and most known accounting professional education provider across the country. In the field of accountancy SKANS School of Accountancy (SKANS) has gained a good reputation as a professional education provider. The teaching and training methodology is focused on students participative learning techniques. The admission at SKANS opens for both male and female students. The admission form is available at the website as well as at the admission office. Application form for admission must be filled by the candidate in their own handwriting. The candidate has to appear in the interview. The admission of the candidate will be finalized on the successful qualification of an interview with the admission committee. All dues should be cleared within the time otherwise it results in cancellation of admission.


The general requirements that must be completed at the time of admission.

  1. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) registration. (For CA)
  2. Attested copies of Matriculation certificate/equivalent
  3. Attested copies of Intermediate / D.Com Certificate/equivalent (For B.Com)
  4. Character certificate by the head of the institution last attended
  5. 4 Photographs
  6. Attested copy of CNIC of father/guardian of the candidate himself/herself
  7. Migration Certificate


The selection criteria for the different classes are as follow:

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR Chartered Accountant (CA)

Full-Time Studies Scheme

  1. Candidates who have passed HSSC with minimum 50% marks
  2. For ‘A’ Level with minimum two A, or equivalent qualification
  3. Graduates with minimum 45% marks.

Trainee Scheme

  1. Grad
  2. ssing or obtaining an exemption from AFC may directly register as a trainee.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Full-Time Studies Scheme

  1. Candidates who have HSSC with minimum 50% marks, ‘A’ Level with a minimum of two passes, or equivalent qualification
  2. Graduates with minimum 45% marks.

Trainee Scheme

  1. O/A-Levels, B.Com, BA, BSc from a recognized University

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)

  1. Graduates with Degrees accredited by CIMA
  2. MBA Holders
  3. Member of Another Professional Body
  4. Matric
  5. Intermediate
  6. Graduates with Degrees related to Accounting, Business, Finance, Law and Other Relevant Areas

Chartered Accountant (CA)

In Pakistan and abroad Chartered Accountancy(CA) is a rewarding career and excellent prospects for employment. ICAP is a professional body of Chartered Accountants in Pakistan. Thousands of students are joining ICAP every year, this prestigious national body (ICAP) and an average of 300 qualified young professionals of yearly basis to the local and international markets. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is one of the largest and fastest-growing international accountancy body. It has over 350,000 students and members in 170 countries all around the world. ACCA has an extensive network of staffed offices and student support centers around the world. Recognition in the UK and Ireland, it has the authority to license its members to work as registered auditors. The ACCA Professional Scheme targets to a combination of study and practical experience.

ACCA offers four core qualifications

  1. A technical level introduction to accountancy.
  2. A professional qualification to reach the highest level in accountancy (ACCA).
  3. A Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Accounting in professional accounting BSc (Hons).
  4. A Masters in Business Administration

Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)

Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is an internationally recognized professional body with over 218,000 students and members in 177 countries. Chartered Management Accountants is looking forward to being at the heart of the business and interpreting financial information and strategic decisions about the future of organizations. CIMA Chartered Management Accountants works in commerce, public sectors, and not-for-profit organizations.The CIMA qualification consists of 17 exams including 3 case studies at each level. Candidate will gain expertise in three main areas:

  2. Business Management
  3. Financial Management

Intermediate in Commerce (I. COM)

The Intermediate in Commerce (I. COM) is a formal School Certification. This certification is associated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad. It sets a base for the candidates who desire to pursue Commerce and Finance careers
