Cadet College Swat stands as a collaborative initiative between the provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Pakistan Army. Positioned as a leading educational institution in Malakand Division, its establishment was prompted by the unwavering sacrifices made by the people of Swat during the period of terrorism.
Following the successful military operation in 2009-10, General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani, NI (M), HI, the then Chief of Army Staff, and Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, mutually agreed to establish Cadet College in Swat’s scenic Gulibagh, aiming to restore the confidence of the local populace.
Today, the college stands as a symbol of peace and enlightenment in the post-conflict era of the Malakand Division, spreading the light of knowledge. Nestled in the picturesque Gulibagh valley, along the main Mingora-Kalam Road, Cadet College Swat is situated approximately 18 miles outside Mingora city, offering breathtaking views of the Swat River.
It has earned a reputation as a trendsetter in providing high-quality education and nurturing the untapped potential of young individuals from Malakand Division and beyond. Despite being a relatively new addition to the realm of educational institutions, it has swiftly garnered acclaim in both academic pursuits and co-curricular activities.
