Cadet College Razmak
In 1970s Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the late prime minister of Pakistan founded the Cadet College during his visit to Miranshah, North Waziristan agency. The decision was taken to House a new Cadet College for the benefit of the Boys of all the Tribal Areas. In 1978 the College started functioning in Razmak. The scenery of Razmak is beautiful in summer as well as in winter. The mountains are covered with snow . The summer is season is also very pleasant. Razmak was British Army Station before independence and British Army biggest bachelor camp. It was called as “Little London”. The college had initially a batch of 100 cadets in March 1978.

Maj (r) Geoffrey Langlands
Geoffrey Douglas Langlands (21 October 1917 – 2 January 2019) was a retired army British Major and a teacher who lived in Pakistan since the partition of the British Indian Empire in 1947. He was the Ex principal Cadet college Razmak.
The college is divided into six houses.
Ghazali House is the senior most house of the College, established in 1978 and is named after the great Muslim philosopher “Imam Ghazali”.
Bilal house is named after the great companion of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) “Bilal Habshi”. This is the second senior most house of the College established in 1978.
Jinnah House named after the Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the house is established in March 1979.
Babar House is named after the late Interior Minister Nasir Ullah Babar, the one who suggested the late Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto to establish Cadet College in Razmak.
Abdali House is the fifth house of Cadet College Razmak in seniority, is named after the great Afghan Warrior Ahmad Shah Abdali. The Motto of the house is “Live with honour”.
Khushhal House was established in 1983 and was named after the great warrior and the poet of Pashto Khushhal Khan Khattak. It is the junior most house of the college.
The Cadet College Razmak offers admission from Class 8 () SSC to Intermediate (FSC). The admission is purely on the merit basis. THe admission Forms may be obtained from the College Office or online. The candidate has to appear in a written test. After the succession of written test the candidate also has to give an interview. The selection of candidates is purely on the basis of test, interview, academic record, and Medical Examination. All dues should be cleared at the time of admission.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR 8th
- The age of the candidate should be 12-14 years.
- The candidate has to clear the admission test and should pass the admission interview.
- The applicant should be medically fit.
- The applicant must have passed 7th Class or equivalent from a registered school.
The Cadet College offering the following scheme of study.
The college gives a strong concept, and discipline to the cadets. The teachers work to introduce and polish the skills, talents in the students. The faculty has an intellectual level and diverse experience. The college has all the required labs and library. Indoor and outdoor activities of students. Each and every student has to take part in activities carried out in college. The students have a weekly and monthly assessment.

INTERMEDIATE (FSC 1-2)
The Cadet College has a good result at SSC Level. All cadets have to maintain class attendance and discipline within the college as well as in the hostel. The productive use of the library lifts up the student’s general knowledge and concepts. The cadets secured many top board positions. Cadets perform the experiment to understand theoretical concepts.

Cadet College has the best result at A Level. Class attendance has to be maintained by the cadets. The cadets have to show all type of discipline within the college as well as in the hostel. Student’s general knowledge and concepts are based on faculty lecture delivery methods. The cadets secured many top board positions.
