Cadet College Petaro
Cadet College Petaro is a military boarding school in Jamshoro District of the southern province of Sindh in Pakistan; about 20 miles (32 km) from Hyderabad which is under administration of Pakistan Navy.
It is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious boarding schools of Pakistan. Its campus occupies over 700 acres on the west bank of the Indus River on the road from Hyderabad to Dadu, Larkana and Quetta.
Admission to the college are opened only once a year for admitting boys to class VII subject to fulfillment of the general conditions and schedule detailed below:
Opening of admission is , normally, announced through the leading English, Urdu and Sindhi newspapers in the month of December/January each year.
(3) Eligibility for Class VII:
Candidates must not be under 11 years and over 13 years of age on 31st March of the year of admission. No relaxation of age whatsoever is permissible.
Candidates must have passed Class VI at the time of admission. However, applications of such boys, who are studying in Class VI are accepted provisionally.
Class VII is primarily a preparatory class. Admission therefore, is limited to such students who are studying in rural schools(outside District Headquarters) and whose parents are domiciled in Rural areas of Sindh. All District Headquarters will be Considered as urban areas whereas, the remaining part of the Division will be considered as rural areas.
Petarian Foundation initiated a program for scholarships for cadets at Cadet College Petaro. This program is based on need cum merit. Only those cadets who have financial difficulties and who demonstrate academic and other capabilities are granted scholarships.

Along with the studies, the college also focuses on extra physical activities. The college also participated in different events and competitions. Students also take part in fine arts and social events.
