Cadet College Khushab is a prestigious military boarding school located in the Khushab district of Punjab province, Pakistan. The college is well known for providing high-quality education and military-style training to young boys.
After completion of the first phase of construction, the following buildings/blocks for housing various facilities exist:
Academic Block
Noor Khan House, double story massive purpose-built block with a Staff Room, Computer Lab, Audio Visuals plus Language Lab and spacious Classrooms which are well-lit, airy and well-furnished. Labs on the ground floor and dormitories for cadets on the first floor with comfortable furniture items such as beds, almirahs and chairs.
Residential Block
Sarwar House another massive building at the rear of the academic block has been built for housing the following facilities:
- Dorms for Cadets
- BOQs for Senior Staff / Teachers
- Examination Hall
- Common Room
Presently, the institution is inducting cadets in 6th,7th, 8th, 9th and 1st-year classes for which entry tests are organized. The entry test is followed by an intelligence test/interview for successful candidates. The subjects for the examination are English, Urdu, and Mathematics. The suitability of a candidate is assessed on the basis of his performance in the entry test, intelligence test, interview and final merit. The date of the test is advertised in reputed Urdu and English newspapers as well as social media, well in advance. 6th, 7th and 8th classes are taken as preparatory classes for the subsequent board classes. Lateral induction is also done if a vacancy exists in any class at any time of the year.
