Cadet College Hasan Abdal was established in 1952. In the country, it was the first quasi-military boarding institution of its kind, organized in the British tradition. Mr. Hugh Catchpole was its founder Principal, an eminent British educationist. The College aims to produce a strong gentleman to serve the country in the military as well as civil services. The College combines education and discipline together to transform a boy into a disciplined man. Cadet College is a famous educational institute in the region. The cadets secure many positions in board examination. The alumni of the college are serving on many top ranks. The college has all the facilities for students like sports, mess, Labs, Library, and Dispensary. The security system of the college is good and Guards are active all the time. The result of the cadet college is remarkable.

The Cadet College Hassan Abdal offers admission from Class 8 to Intermediate (FSC/ A-Level). The admission is purely on the merit for all the applicants appearing from Pakistan and Abroad. Admission Forms may be obtained from the College Office or from the Admission Office or online. The applicant has to appear and clear a written test for the academic class for which the candidate has applied. The candidate also has to give a written test. The candidates have to qualify in the Written Examination and are required to appear for Interview and Medical Examination. The results are kept confidential. Successful candidates join the college in last week of April/First week of May.
