The college was established in 2005 and is located on a sprawling campus in the city of Ghotki, in the northern part of the Sindh province. The college has a highly qualified and experienced faculty, modern facilities, and state-of-the-art infrastructure that provide a conducive learning environment for students.

Cadet College Ghotki was sponsored by the Ministry of Education Government of Pakistan with approval of Rs. 167 million. For this purpose, the District Government Ghotki provided 253 acres of land free of cost. Later, the National Finance Commission (NFC) handed over the college to the Government of Sindh.
