St. Joseph’s Society Mill Hill from London Burn Hall School in 1943 in Srinagar. The Fathers copied the system and promoted sports and extra-curricular activities such as music, debate, etc. A new school building was constructed outside the town, on Mansehra Road in 1956, the present location. The Burn Hall School Abbottabad was handed over to the Pakistan Army in 1977. The College provides all the basic facilities to the students. The college has remarkable results in HSSC and A-level. Students secured very good grades and positions in the examination. The College is located at the most attractive and beautiful place in Abbottabad. The College was named after an English Manor House, which had a hall with a stream (Burn) running through it, hence called it, the name ‘Burn Hall’. The School and college sections are divided into different houses. The name of houses is in honor of the Matyards of the Pakistan Army.

 

The applicant has to get a prospectus from the college. The application for admission must be submitted with all the required documents. A Demand Draft/Pay Order with the admission form, the amount mentioned in the Admission Form. The applicant has to appear on the admission test. The list of selected candidates is finalized on the base of their academics records and is o pure merit. All dues and fees should be cleared before the commencement of classes.

Eligibity:

a. For Prep Class
1. On the 1st March of the year of admission, The candidate should be between 5 and 6 years.
2. The candidate should be medically FIT.
3. All seats are filled on open merit.

b. For 7th Class
1. The students who are studying in 6th or 7th Class
2. On 1st March of the year of admission, The candidate should be between 12 and 13 years.
3. The candidate must be medically FIT.
4. All seats are filled on open merit.

c. For FSc 1st Year Class
1. The induction is accomplished only when seats are available.
2. The students who are probably to pass Matric exam in the year of application, from any Board with at least 70% marks.
3. On 31st March of the year of application, The age should be between 15 to 17 years.
4. The candidate must be medically FIT.
5. All seats are filled on open merit.

d. For A Level Class
1. The induction is consummated only when seats are available.
2. The students who have passed the O Level Exam in the year of application, with minimum Bs.
3.On 1st April of the year of application, The age should be between 15 to 17 years
4. The candidate must be medically FIT.
5. All seats are filled on open merit.
