Spanning 308 Kanals, the Abbottabad Campus of CUI stands as a modern, progressive seat of learning. Since its inception in July 2001, the campus has grown from three departments and 121 students to twelve departments, 5672 students, 15 undergraduate programs, 24 graduate programs, and 386 qualified faculty members, including over 212 PhDs and 90 modern laboratories. The campus provides quality education, state-of-the-art facilities, and contributes significantly to Pakistan's research and community development. To meet national education commitments, CUI Abbottabad plans to launch 17 new departments focused on science, engineering, social, medical, and agricultural sciences. Eligibility :

For Undergraduate Programs:

  • 12-year degree in the relevant field.
  •  Minimum 60% marks for engineering programs; minimum 50% marks for non-engineering programs, with no third division or Grade "D" in the academic career.
  • IELTS minimum 5.0 band, TOEFL IBT minimum score 70, or English proficiency certificate from the last attended institution.
  • Equivalence of academic certificates/transcripts must be obtained during the first semester of studies.

For MS Programs:

  • 16-year degree in the relevant field from accredited international universities with a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4 (semester system) or at least 60% (annual system), with no third division or 'D' grade throughout the academic career.
  • IELTS minimum 5.0 band, TOEFL iBT minimum score 70, or English proficiency certificate from the last attended institution.
  •  NTS GAT (General) with a minimum score of 50 or departmental test within the first semester of studies.
  • Equivalence of academic certificates/transcripts must be obtained during the first semester of studies.
For Ph.D Programs:
  • 18 years of education (MS/M.Phil. with Thesis or equivalent) in the relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (semester system) or 70% marks (conventional system), with no third division or 'D' grade throughout the academic career.
  • IELTS minimum 5.0 band, TOEFL IBT minimum score 70, or English proficiency certificate from the last attended institution.
  • GRE (subject) with a minimum score of 1100, NTS GAT (subject) with a minimum score of 60, or departmental test within the first semester of studies.
  • Equivalence of academic certificates/transcripts must be obtained during the first semester of studies.
