National Skills University Islamabad, established by the Federal Government of Pakistan, is a non-profit public sector university. It is the first public university designed to address the rapid job transformation challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0). Unlike conventional higher education institutions, NSU emphasizes equipping students with job-ready skills and academic knowledge. The university’s graduates are expected to have extensive workplace knowledge in their areas of specialization. This is achieved through a focus on discipline-specific practical experience, including both hands-on training in university labs and fieldwork with industrial partners through Co-op programs.

Eligibility:

For BSc Programs:
  •  FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS with Mathematics & Physics, or DAE in a relevant field
  • Minimum Marks:50%
For BS Programs:  
Biotechnology:
  • FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent
BS Medical Lab Technology (MLT):
  • FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent
BS Computer Science :
  • FSc Pre-Medical-Engineering, ICS with Mathematics and Physics, or DAE in IT Minimum Marks:50%
For BBA Programs:
  • FA/FSc/ICS/ICOM or equivalent
  • Minimum Marks:50%

General Admission Requirement for All BSc/BS Programs:

Students must have secured at least 50% marks in their intermediate examination or an equivalent examination from a foreign university/institution/examining body. The equivalence and percentage of marks will be determined and verified by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC). It is the applicant's responsibility to provide verified/certified credentials.
